Day 1

• Hands-on demonstration & practice time: creating a basic dried flower arrangement in a vase

Day 1 will cover the introduction to the dried flower arrangement industry, an overview of the materials and tools needed, different types of dried flowers and foliage, tips for sourcing and purchasing in Sydney, and design elements and principles. Participants will learn how to create a basic dried flower arrangement in a vase and tips for caring for dried flowers.

Day 2

• Overview of color theory and how it applies to dried flower arrangements
• Techniques for arranging flowers in vases and containers with the wiring techniques
• Hands-on demonstration and exercise: creating a more advanced dried flower arrangement in a vase

It focuses on wiring techniques for preserved flowers, color theory, and how to create a more advanced large dried flower arrangement in a vase with the wiring techniques.
