Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher with a value of up tp $100 per calendar year for each school-enrolled child aged 4.5-18 years.
The NSW Government is helping kids get creative with the new Creative Kids program. 

How do I apply for my Creative Kids Voucher?

 

1. Visit https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-creative-kids-voucher.
2. Select the 'apply online' button in the bottom left hand corner.
3. Log into your account or sign up if you don't have one.
4. Follow the prompts to apply for your voucher.

How do I use my Creative Kits voucher with Peony Story?

1. Select one of our online or in-person classes,

 

2. Select a public date/time or request a private booking,

3. Enter your NSW Creative Kids Voucher number, your child's full name and date of birth information into note session, 

4. Once we redeem the voucher, we will refund $100 back to you.

Why are creative activities important for my child?

Children have unlimited creative potential. They are curious, playful, imaginative and open to new experiences. Research has shown that chirldren's engagement with creative activities has positive effects on their interpersonal, intellectual, social and emotional development.

• They engage with their imagination and orginality as they imagine and explore orginal ideas. Children who use fantasy and imagination are better in divergent thinking and generating ideas.
• They stretch their flexibility, remain open to unique and novel experiences.
• They practice decision making, the ability to make thoughful choices that support creative efforts.
• They develope and practice their own sense of aesthetic.
• They practice mindfulness and learn to focus on each of the craft project.
• They learn to express their inner thinking, emotions through application of colours and various combination of forms and textures of flowers.
